Task
Switching off the engine when ignition "OFF", in other words moving the control rack of the IFI fuel metering control (Y23/1) and the IFI electrohydraulic shutoff (Y1/1) to "STOP" position.

Function
After the key is turned into the "STOP" position, the IFI electrohydraulic shutoff (Y1/1) is actuated by the self-holding circuit in the IFI control module (N3/7). The IFI control module (N3/7) checks whether the engine has stopped. After this the IFI electrohydraulic shutoff (Y1/1)is again engaged. This procedure is necessary in order to check operation of the IFI electrohydraulic shutoff (Y1/1).
