Work Instructions

NOTE:
- Replace rivet nuts in exhaust manifold, if necessary
- Replace self-locking nuts and bolts. Ensure the flanges are correctly installed.
- Remove combustion and corrosion residues on connection points by cleaning with emery cloth, if necessary.

- Flanged connection of front exhaust pipe or exhaust pipe with TWC
- Engine 602.982, 606.962

NOTE:
- Removing: Use pipe pliers to compress dished washers (a, b) and press off metal tongue with a screwdriver.
- Installing: Use pipe pliers to compress dished washers (a, b) until metal tongue locks in place.
