Function of Opening Sliding Roof

Function prerequisites
- Voltage not too low or too high.

Function
To open the sliding roof press the sliding/pop-up roof switch (N70s1) back. The overhead control panel control module (N70) reads in the position of the switch and actuates the motor for the sliding/pop-up roof (M12/1) in the direction for opening the sliding roof.
- If the sliding/pop-up roof is synchronized the motor is actuated as long as the switch is pressed, however for a maximum of 25 sec.
- If the sliding/pop-up roof is not synchronized the motor is actuated for one second only. The motor is actuated again for one second only after the switch is released and pressed again.

Interruption of function
If the overhead control panel control module (N70) recognizes that the sliding/pop-up roof is locked up the function of opening the sliding roof is interrupted.


NOTE: (Model 210.2 only)
The sliding roof is stopped before reaching the end position. This prevents annoying noises from the wind while driving. The sliding roof can be opened completely by pressing the switch again.
