REVISED FRONT LONGITUDINAL MEMBER SECTIONING PROCEDURE





The repair instructions "Replacing longitudinal member front section" outlined in AR62.20-P-1260F, have been revised to include a new sectioning procedure for front longitudinal members. The newly approved sectioning point behind the front subframe mounting point, forward of the shock absorber console, is defined in the repair instructions. The previously approved sectioning point (Figure 1) remains valid also.

The original replacement longitudinal member sections have been replaced with new longer sections. It will be necessary to fabricate shorter sections from these new parts when performing sectioning procedures at the previously approved sectioning point.
