Disconnecting Hydraulic Lines From Hydraulic Pump and Connect

Disconnect hydraulic lines (5) from hydraulic pump

1. Unscrew bolts (3) 10 Nm from connection plate (4)

Note: Observe tightening torques for bolts (3)

2. Remove connection plate (4) from hydraulic pump

Caution:Lay hydraulic pump into suitable tub to prevent soiling the passenger compartment.

3. Pull hydraulic lines (5) out of hydraulic pump

Note:If individual hydraulic lines (5) are to be replaced, pull out only hydraulic lines (5) to be replaced (5)

4. Seal hydraulic lines (5) and connections for hydraulic pump with set of plugs.
5. Remove circlips (6) and sealing rings (7)






Connect hydraulic lines (5) to hydraulic pump


6. Install centering cone (8) of assembly aid on end of hydraulic lines (5).
7. Install circlips (6) on centering cone with assembly aid.
8. Slide circlips (6) into groove of hydraulic lines (5) with handle of assembly aid.
9. Remove centering cone (8) from hydraulic line connection(S) with assembly aid.
10. Slide on sealing ring (7) with aid of centering cone (8) for assembly aid

Caution: Slightly moisten sealing ring (7) with hydraulic oil before installation to prevent damaging the sealing ring (7).

11. Remove set of stop plugs from connections for hydraulic pump and hydraulic lines (5)
12. Press hydraulic lines (5) into hydraulic pump connections by hand to stop.

Note:Hydraulic lines (5) should be installed separately and should never be pressed into the hydraulic pump with aid of the connection plate (4).

13. Screw on connection plate (4)
14. Add hydraulic oil to expansion reservoir if required.
15. Remove hydraulic oil residues from hydraulic pump and hydraulic lines (5).
