Checking/Setting Distance Between Spring Strut and Wheel House

Left Spring Strut:

PROCEDURE
When installing the spring strut (5), check distance "a" between the pressure hose Adder on the spring strut tube (arrow) and the wheel house (70c).

Only set the spring strut when me screwed connection of the pressure hose is released. Ensure that the gaiter on the spring strut is not installed twisted

DIMENSIONS FOR REAR AXLE SPRING STRUT
- Distance between pressure hose holder on spring strut tube and wheel house:
- At rebound:
- Left: 11-15 mm
- Right: 24-28 mm
- At ready to drive (vehicle on its wheels):
- Left: 14-18 mm
- Right: 26-30 mm
