Coolant Level Indicator Module: Description and Operation

Function Of Coolant Level Indicator
- The coolant level indicator monitors the coolant level in the expansion tank or radiator, respectively, when the engine is running.
- If the coolant is at the correct level, the contact (arrow) in the coolant level sensor (S41) is open.
- When the coolant level drops, the float (51) moves down. When the ring magnet (54) is positioned above the contact (arrow in the coolant level sensor, the contact closes.
- Vehicle ground now exists at the microprocessor and the indicator fight (Ale11) comes on.
- The indicator light (Ale11) also Comes on when the key is in position 2 as a check function.
