Spark Plug Tube Seal In Valve Cover

Replacing Spark Plug Tube Seal (Part 1 Of 2):

Replacing Spark Plug Tube Seal (Part 2 Of 2):

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.

1. Remove cylinder head (valve) cover
2. Use a screwdriver (arrow) to pry out spark plug shaft seal (1)
- Do not damage mounting hole
3. Clean mounting hole
4. Use drift (01) to knock in spark plug shaft seal (1) as far as the stop.
5. Install in the reverse order, noting the following:
- Examine gasket of cylinder head cover to ensure it is correctly seated
- Check for leaks with engine running
