Vacuum Element For Diverter Flap

The diverter flap vacuum element actuates the diverter flap (air directly from evaporator to center nozzle) for control of the air to the center nozzle.

The diverter flap vacuum element is designed as a single-stage vacuum element.






Function
The diverter flap vacuum element (41) is actuated by the pushbutton control module (N22) via the switchover valve block (Y11/3). In the opened state vacuum is connected to the diverter flap vacuum element (41). In the heating mode the diverter flap vacuum element (41) is released closing the diverter flap.
