Tensioner Shock Absorber

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.

Removal
1. On models with fan shroud, remove fan shroud (1)
2. On all models, remove poly V-belt (2). Service and Repair
3. Unbolt tensioning pulley (3), pull off
4. Unbolt shock absorber of poly V-belt tensioning device (9)
- Use a suitable tool (15), (eg. appropriately ground 10 mm hexagon wrench,) to counter-hold from the rear at the bottom boss

Installation
Install in the reverse order, tighten mounting bolts and collar nut of pulley to 25 Nm
