Tensioner Assembly

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.

Removal
1. On models with viscous fan coupling, remove coupling (26), refer to cooling system.
- Note left-hand thread
2. On models with fan shroud, remove fan shroud
3. On all models, loosen, then remove poly V-belt.
4. Unbolt belt tensioning pulley (3)
5. Remove shock absorber of poly V-belt tensioning device (9).
6. Unbolt bracket (10)
7. Swivel tensioning arm (2), fix in position
- Swivel tensioning arm at stud bolt (4, external torx E10) anti-clockwise and fix with positioning pin (01) in hole (arrow) so that top securing bolt (12) is accessible.
8. Unbolt tensioning device (41), remove

Installation
Install in the reverse order, tighten securing bolts and pulley collar nut to: 25 Nm
