Insert valve guide, inspect





















1 Heat cylinder head in water bath or on a hot plate to approximately 80° C. 2 Drive in valve guides (54) using drift punch (7) 606 589 02 15 00 up to stop.

The wheel offset is preset through the drift punch (7).

3 Check valve guide (54) with valve for ridging, if necessary ream with reamer 102 589 01 53 00.





4 Check installation depth (c) of valve guide (54), if necessary correct installation depth.

5 Clean valve guides with cylinder brush 000 589 10 68 00.
