Removing And Installing Vehicle Interface (Cellular Telephone)

Illustrated On Model 202 Sedan:

1 Connect quiescent current retention unit

See "Commercially Available Tools" given below.

2 Disconnect ground lead from battery
3 Remove side paneling on left in trunk
4 Unscrew nut (2)
5 Carefully lift mount (1) with control modules out of wheelhouse

NOTE: Do not damage connection leads

6 Pull and unlock coupling on CTEL telephone (A34/4)

CAUTION: Do not kink or stretch fiber optic cable

7 Loosen sheet metal screws (3)
8 Remove CTEL telephone (A34/4)
9 Install in opposite order
