Climate Control Exhaust Gas Sensor: Description and Operation

The smog sensor switches to 100 % recirculated air via the push-button control module when the following conditions are fulfilled:
- 60 seconds after ignition ON
- activated charcoal filter switched on (LED illuminated)
- high CO-/NOx quantity in outside air
- EC mode not switched on
- - outdoor temperature > 7 °C
