Task
Limiting the quantity injected at wide open throttle (WOT)

Function
The IFI control module (N3/7) receives the necessary input signal from the components listed below and limits the quantity of fuel through the IFI fuel metering control (Y23/1) and the fuel rack. This prevents increased exhaust emissions when accelerating.
If any of the following components and subsystems have a fault, the quantity injected at wide open throttle is additonally reduced:
- Crankshaft position sensor (L5/6)
- Accelerator pedal position sensor (R25/2)
- IFI electrohydraulic shutoff (Y1/1)
- Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) control
- Intake pressure control
