Task
Protecting the engine from excessive thermal stresses.

Function
The quantity of fuel injected is reduced as a function of the coolant temperature and the vehicle speed, in line with the map stored in the IFI control module.
The air conditioning is pulsed from a coolant temperature of 123 °C and switched off at a temperature of 127 °C.
