1. Air filter air intake line
Remove, install.
1a. Resonance intake line
Remove, install.
2. Shaft cover on valve cover
Remove, install. At the assembly make sure that the leak-off hose from cylinder 1 to the fuel return hose (90/5) is correctly routed.
3. Leak-off hoses (90/3) between the injectors
Check for leaks, replace if necessary.
4. Leak-off hose (90/3) from cylinder 1 with special pliers
Disconnect, connect. Caution! Do not pull on hose
5. Suction line to fuel heater (90/1) and fuel return hose (90/5)
Pinch off with clamps and remove clamps
6. Fuel low pressure circuit
Drain partially (e.g. disconnecting a fuel line).
7. Pressure tester (019) on leak-off line (90/3)
Connect, disconnect.
8. Fuel low pressure circuit with 900 mbar
Pressurize and set pointer.
Maximum pressure drop 20 mbar after 2 minutes
If pressure drop > 20 mbar, check system with soap water (e.g. diluted dishwashing liquid) for leaks.
