The anti-towing sensor (TS) can be switched off with the ATA interior motion sensor/anti-towing sensor/status indicator switch (S85/2) in the center console.
Switching off must be accomplished with the anti-theft alarm (ATA) deactivated and ignition switched off (circuit 15 off). To switch off the TS press the switch down. Actuation of the switch is read in by the PSE control module (combined) (A37).

After releasing the switch successful switch-off is acknowledged by the LED in the switch coming on for two seconds. When the ATA is then activated the TS remains switched off.


NOTE: Further actuation of the switch for switching off the interior motion sensor (IMS) is effective only after acknowledgment.
