Replacing Rear Mount Of Lower Wishbone





Removal Of Hydraulic Mount:







Installation Of Hydraulic Mount:






1 Remove lower wishbone (4)
2 Clamp wishbone (4) in vise.

CAUTION: Use aluminum jaws

3 Mount clamping washer (012k) part 1 between wishbone eye and rubberized stop ring (collar)

NOTE: The clamping washer must be at an angle of 90 degrees to the wishbone eye

4 Insert sleeve (012d) part 2 in clamping washer(012k) part 1
5 Mount thrust washer (012h) part 4 and thrust piece (012e) part 3

NOTE: The straight pins of the thrust washer (012h) part 4 point outwards

6 Remove hydraulic mount (4h)
7 Clean mounting bore for hydraulic mount in wishbone

CAUTION: Do not use any oil, lubricant or grease containing acid.

8 Insert hydraulic mount (4h) in the wishbone from behind (viewed in direction of travel)

NOTE: The parallel surfaces (arrow) of the bearing core must be at an angle of 90 degrees to the center weld seam of the wishbone. In the installed position when unladen the bearing core is offset towards the center of the vehicle by the dimension "a"

9 Draw in hydraulic mount (4h) up to the stop with thrust washer (012h) part 4 and thrust washer(012e) part 5

NOTE: The straight pins of the thrust washer (012h) part 4 point inwards.

10 Press on washer (4g) flush with bearing core with thrust washer (012e) part 5 and thrust piece (012e) part 3
11 Install lower wishbone (4)
