AR77.20-P-1350K Remove/Install Seal For Sliding/Pop-Up Roof Panel







Removal
1 Remove sliding/pop-up roof cover
2 Pull seal (1) off of glass cover

NOTE: Mark joint in seal (1) on glass cover

Installation
3 Apply lubricant all around base of seal (1), position on mark and press into insert profile (4) on glass cover up to joint with roller (2)

See "Special Tools" given below.

4 Cut off seal (1) at joint leaving 1 mm excess and press into insert profile (4)

NOTE: Ensure that transition is precise

5 Measure seal (1) in relation to glass cover

NOTE:
- Seal (1) to outside of glass cover: 7 mm
- The adjustment dimension for the seal (1) can be changed by pressing from outside or top with roller (2). Use a suitably rounded plastic wedge (5) to increase in area of side covers and radius

6 Install glass cover
