Removing, Installing and adjusting starter lock-out switch





Assembly note
Observe removal and installation notes in op. no.27-600.

Selector lever position "N"
Engage, detach shift rod at floor shift mechanism. After attaching and securing shift rod, chock operation of starter lock-out switch (53).
Transmission
Lower at rear by slackening cross bar at rear engine mount and rear exhaust mount.
Fixing clips
For speedometer shaft, detach and attach.
Locking bar
Turn upwards, detach plug at starter lockout (53).
Hexagon bolts (55)
Unscrew, take off starter lockout switch. When assembling, fit on starter lock-out switch (53) and screw in hexagon bolts (55) but do not tighten. Ensure that the driver engages in the range selector lever. Insert a 4 mm split pin or bit as locating pin (93) through the locating hole into the driver and tighten hexagon bolts (55) to 8 Nm. Pull Out locating pin.
