Mercedes HHT

NOTE: The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) memory readout, DTC memory clearing as well as resetting and reactivating the engine control module can be performed with the impulse counter scan tool or HHT only on vehicles up to hand-held tester (HHT) Diagnosis Version 46. On vehicles as of HHT Diagnosis Version 49, it is possible only with the HHT.

Connect HHT as shown in Image.

CAUTION: The hood cannot be closed with the multiplexer cable connected or damage will result. If the vehicle must be driven, use the "driving" cable which is designed for this purpose.

NOTE: DTC's which have been stored due to testing or disconnecting of lines must be erased from the DTC memory at the end of testing.
