DTC: P1340 Camshaft position sensor monitoring signal from engine control module (HFM-SFI) (N3/4) not received by diagnostic module

Activation requirement CHECK ENGINE lamp:
Two consecutive trips with fault.

Activation of CHECK ENGINE lamp:
At start of next trip.

Test to detect fault:
The diagnostic module checks if the number of TNA pulses (= crankshaft segments) between two camshaft pulses equals the number of cylinders. The number of crankshaft segment rear edges in one camshaft revolution must equal the number of cylinders.
