DTC: P1336 Crankshaft sensor signal: Magnet coding on segment

Activation requirement CHECK ENGINE lamp:
Two consecutive trips with fault.

Activation of CHECK ENGINE lamp:
At start of next trip.

Test to detect fault:
The engine control module checks the position of the magnet inserted into one of the crankshaft segments. Faults are reported to the diagnostic module via CAN.
