DTC: P0505 Idle control system malfunction

Activation requirement CHECK ENGINE lamp:
Two consecutive trips with failure.

Activation of CHECK ENGINE lamp:
At start of next trip.

Test to detect fault:
The diagnostic module receives the fixed operating (limp-home) mode message of the idle speed control via CAN. If this message remains after approximately 5 seconds, the diagnostic module recognizes a fault.
