DTC: P0412 Secondary air injection system switching valve circuit malfunction

Activation requirement CHECK ENGINE lamp:
After two consecutive tests with failure.

Activation of CHECK ENGINE lamp:
At start of next trip.

Test to detect fault:
The engine control module checks if the secondary air injection system is controllable, and sends a message via CAN if a fault is detected. The diagnostic module recognizes a fault if problems are present for longer than approximately 5 seconds.
