DTC: P0341 Camshaft position sensor circuit range/performance (L5/1)

Activation requirement CHECK ENGINE lamp:
Two consecutive trips with fault.

Activation of CHECK ENGINE lamp:
At start of next trip.

Test to detect fault:
The engine control module checks if the number of TNA pulses (crankshaft segments) between two camshaft pulses equals the number of cylinders. The number ofcrankshaft segment rear edges in one camshaft revolution must equal the number of cylinders. If irregularities are detected, a message is sent to the diagnostic module via CAN. A fault is recognized after approximately 2 seconds.
