DTC: P0335 Crankshaft position sensor circuit malfunction

Activation requirement CHECK ENGINE lamp:
Two consecutive trips with fault.

Activation of CHECK ENGINE lamp:
At start of next trip.

Test to detect fault:
The engine control module checks the AC voltage signal created by the crankshaft segment front and rear edges and their correct sequence. Failures are transmitted to the diagnostic module via CAN. The diagnostic module recognizes a fault after approximately 5 seconds, if the air mass is above idle speed value.
