Neutral Safety Switch: Description and Operation

W/O ASR
The starter lock-out/backup lamp switch (S16/1) sends a signal to the cruise control/idle speed control module (N4/3) when the A/T shift lever is in the "P" or "N" position.

W/ ASR
The starter lock-out/backup lamp switch (S16/3) sends a signal to the electronic accelerator control module (N4/1) when the A/T shift lever is in the "P" or "N" position.
