Power Seat Motor: Description and Operation

The motors installed are permanently excited DC motors. The motors for longitudinal adjustment can be operated at two different speeds. (HHT option for easy entry feature). For this reason the motors are equipped with two brushes for normal adjustment speed, with three brushes for rapid adjustment speed or double commutator motors for both adjustment speeds.
