68-560 Removal And Installation Of Ornamental Frame For Rear Window On Coupe Roof

Special Tool:

1 Protect window cutout in coupe roof from damage with adhesive tape.
2 Screw off trim strip at bottom.







3 Pull trim strip off of window with special tool part No. 116 589 07 59 00.
4 Remove connecting piece from ornamental frame at left and right.
5 Pull rubber profile off of window.







Installation
6 Install rubber profile on window.

NOTE: The grooves must point toward the inside of the window.







7 Insert connecting pieces on ornamental frame.







8 Apply soap and water solution to retaining groove in ornamental frame and press onto window.
9 Reinstall in reverse order.
