Compression Check: Testing and Inspection

Perform compression test with engine at normal operating temperature, spark plugs removed, throttle wide open and battery fully charged. Normal compression pressure should measure 145-174 psi, minimum compression pressure allowed is 123 psi and maximum permissible difference between individual cylinders should not exceed 21 psi.
