Test Step Descriptions And Symbols:

Test Steps are divided into primary and secondary steps, and indicated with an arrow.

Secondary test steps are indicated with a dash line. See image for an overview of the valid symbols.

When a wire is listed in the "Possible Cause" column, all connectors between the control unit and the component being tested are to be included as a possible failure source.
