A. Exterior Finish and Plastic Components

As of January 1991 production, the color program for exterior finish and plastic components was changed. All vehicles are available in 8 solid and 14 metallic colors. The plastic components, which are color coordinated with the exterior finish, are available in 13 colors for each model.

The following vehicle exterior color changes were made:

Deleted from the program: Added to the program:
6 815 agate green (solid) 7 752 carrara grey
5 900 deep blue (solid) 6 256 crystal green
7 751 ascot grey (solid) 9 744 brilliant silver
6 261 sea foam green (metallic)
9 735 astral silver

Simultaneously with the changes in the exterior colors, plastic components also underwent color changes.

Two colors were deleted from the program (except for Model 126):
6 211 kiwi green
7 177 stratus grey
and two colors were added, namely:
6 856 tropical green
7 181 stratus grey





Paint color coordination summary for exterior paint finishes and plastic components are listed.

B. Outside Rear View Mirrors, Model 201

As of January 1991 the outside rear view mirror housings are painted in the vehicle exterior color.

Repair note:
Paint repair with MB-KS base coat, part no. 002 986 04 37 and MB-KS-2K clear top coat, gloss, elastic, part no.001 986 81 37 (refer to Refinishing Manual, section 1.20).
