Shift Modulator: Service and Repair

1. Remove retaining plate attaching bolt.
2. Remove vacuum box, modulating pressure valve and pressure pin.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Ensure pressure pin and modulating pressure valve are operating smoothly.
b. Torque retaining plate attaching bolt specifications.
c. After installation adjust modulating pressure to specification. Refer to Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Adjustments.
