Oil - Engine Oil Capacity Reduced

ENGINES 104, 111
REDUCTION OF ENGINE OIL FILL CAPACITY

Effective immediately, the engine oil fill capacity for the engines 104 and 111, during the oil and filter change has been reduced as follows:

0il capacity in liters (Oil and filter change)

Engine 104 7.0L (previously 7.5L)
Engine 111 5.5L (previously 5.8L)

This change will be reflected in a forthcoming Supplement to the Maintenance Manual, Volume 3. In the interim, please correct your copy of the Maintenance Manual Volume 3, page 0101/3, until the Supplement is issued.

Additionally, the respective Owner's Manuals will be corrected on an ongoing basis.
