WATER ENTERS IN AREA OF HARDTOP AND A-PILLAR

In the case of complaints regarding water entry in the two areas mentioned above. the problem can be eliminated by resealing.

If repair is necessary, follow the procedures in the Work Instructions no. 309, depending on the complaint.

The Work Instructions are divided into the following sections:

A. Water Entry at hardtop.
B. Water Entry at A-pillar.

CAUTION!
Do not use soap and water solution when installing weatherstrips. Moisten weatherstrips or rails with rubber installation fluid, part number 000 989 03 67. It ensures that weatherstrips will not slide In the rails after the fluid has dried. The content of one container rubber installation fluid is sufficient for all of the steps listed In the Work Instructions.
