SUBJECT: MODEL 129 WIND SCREEN RATTLING NOISE


Complaints of rattling noises coming from the wind screen when in the folded position, can be resolved by affixing two pieces of self-adhesive black felt to the wind screen frame.

Cut two pieces of 1/8" or 3/16" thick felt. The two pieces should measure approximately 1/2" by 1/2" in size each.





Affix the pieces of felt to the lower wind screen frame, approximately 1" inwards from the straps (arrows, Figure 1).

Warranty claims for wind screens replaced for rattling will be rejected in the future and parts will be returned to dealers.
