Procedure

Figure 1:





1. Remove cover and unlock the locking clip of the previous cover with a screwdriver (arrow, Figure 1) and remove it from the panel.

2. Take connector out of the removed cover and reinstall it in the modified cover (Figure 2).

Note: The bore in the connector must face the peg in the inside of the cover (arrow, Figure 2).

3. Insert cover in the B pillar panel.

Note: Locking clip must be in unlocked position (arrow B, Figure 3).

4. Use a screwdriver (3 mm) to push the locking clip upwards through the oblong hole in the flap of the cover and lock it (arrow, Figure 4).

5. Check cover and flap for correct fit. Be sure flap moves easily (Figure 5).
