Oil Change in Transfer Case





Note: The vehicle must be level when checking or changing the oil.

Screw off guard plate below transfer case.

Check transfer case for leakage before changing oil.

Drain oil with transfer case at operating temperature (arrows).

Caution! Add oil slowly.

Tightening torque 50 Nm.

Check oil level. Oil level is okay when small quantity of oil runs out or oil level reaches up to bollom edge of thread in filler hole.


Oil grades: Dexron II-D or equivalent.
Capacity for oil change: 0.7 L
