Models 124 (except model 124.034/036)129, 201, use aluminum shims between transmission mount and transmission crossmember of 4 mm and 5 mm thickness, part number 116 242 03 26 or 116 242 02 62. see Parts Information.

Shim between center bearing and frame floor
On model 124, lowering of the center bearing is permitted in critical cases only as a last resort. Due to the inclined installation of the center bearing, side loading of the center bearing will be adversely effected.
Distance shims (60e) to be used between the rear axle center piece and mount (60a-60d) are available in 1, 2, 3 and 4 mm thickness (see Parts Information).
