Flushing Torque Converter and Oil Cooler Lines
If the transmission oil is burned or contains lining particles and/or metal chips, then the torque converter, oil cooler lines and oil cooler must be flushed.
1. Flush the torque converter by filling it half full with kerosene. Insert flushing drift (063) and turn with a hand drill at low speed for approx. 2 minutes. Then drain the kerosene via the drain plug through a clean cloth.
If there are metal particles In the cloth afterwards then the torque converter must be replaced.

2. screw oil cooler with oil cooler lines (12 and 13) onto syringe (064) and flush with ATF, ensuring that the transmission oil flows. Then flush oil cooler and oil cooler lines with compressed air.
