Fluid Is Thrown Out Through Vent After High Speed




Figure 1 All Models:





CAUSE:
Transmission fluid level is too high (overfilled).

REMEDY:
Chock and correct transmission fluid love with vehicle on level ground. engine at idle and transmission selector lover in Park

Carefully observe transmission fluid temperature.

Hot Fluid (fluid temp. approx 8O°C/18O°F): Correct fluid level is at maximum mark.

- Transmissions 722.3/5 (Figure 1) Cold Fluid (fluid temp. approx 30°C/90°F): Correct fluid level is 10 mm below minimum mark.

Hot Fluid (fluid temp. approx 80°C/180°F): Correct fluid level is at maximum mark.

- Transmissions 722.4 (Figure 1) Cold Fluid (fluid temp. approx 3O°C/9O°F): Correct fluid level is 12 mm below minimum mark.

Hot Fluid (fluid temp. approx 8O°C/180°|F): Correct fluid level is at maximum mark.

- Transmissions 722.3/4/5 (Figures 2, 3) Cold Fluid (fluid temp. approx 30°C/90°F): Correct fluid level is between arrow points near 30 (°C or 180 (°F).

Hot Fluid (fluid temp. approx 80°C/180°F: Correct fluid level is between arrow points near 80 (°C or 180 (°F).
