Kickdown Downshift Occurs W/O Kickdown Switch

CAUSE/REMEDY:
1. Check control pressure cable and engine throttle control and adjust it necessary.
2. Check function and position of shift selector "B" switch (V8, V12 equipped vehicles).
3. Remove kickdown solenoid valve. Check O-ring on solenoid valve and needle valve for contamination and freedom of movement.
4. Check kickdown switch (sticks in actuated position) and replace if necessary.
