SUBJECT: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION TEST SHEETS S 2399 A00, S 2400 A00 AND S 2433 000 FOR M.Y. 1990/1991

One sample copy of the above mentioned Automatic Transmission Test Sheets is attached to this service information. In addition, one pad of each test sheet is being sent to the Service Manager.
The color of the vacuum modulator is now included with the test data in the modulator pressure column so you may quickly and accurately verify installation of the correct modulator.
Note:
Test sheets S 2399 A00 and S 2400 A00 supersede MBNA/MBC 2399 and MBNA/MBC 2400 (issued with S.I. MBNA 27/16 from January 1990). Corrections to working, governor and modulator pressure affecting M.Y. 1990 transmissions were made to these test sheets.
Please discard any copies of test sheets MBNA/MBC 2399 and MBNA/MBC 2400 which you may still have.
Please make the following corrections to the appropriate Introduction Manual.
^ Model Year 1990 Models 124.0, 126.0, 201 introduction manual, page 134, correct the working pressure value and governor pressure value at 56 mph for model 124.051 as per the test sheet data. Also on this page, correct the governor pressure value at 56 mph for models 126.024/025 as per the test sheet data.
^ Model Year 1990 Model 129 introduction manual, page 215, correct the working pressure value and governor pressure value at 18 mph as per the test sheet data.
^ Model Year 1990/91 Models 124.1 and 126.1 Turbodiesels, page 89, correct the modulator pressure for models 126.134/135 as per the test sheet data. Also on this page, correct the modulator vacuum actuator color for model 124.128 to black (not red).

1) All future test sheets and other service literature will have a part number instead of a form number as in the past. Service literature will be recognizable as any part number that begins with the letter "S".
