1. Modified Output Flange, Transmission 722.4

As of March 1989 production, an output flange with 90 mm (previously 80 mm) bolt circle was phased-in for installation in model 201.126 with transmission 722.4.

Note:
The parts depots will continue to supply transmissions with either the 80 mm or 90 mm bolt circle output flange until stock of the previous is depleted. In case of repairs the output flange (with 80 mm bolt circle) from the removed transmission is to be installed on the replacement transmission if required.

2. Modified Serial Number, Transmission 722.3

The 6-digit progressive serial number stamped into the transmission housing has reached 999 999. Therefore, as of September 1987, the stamped-in number has changed to a 7-digit sequence.

Previous transmission serial number - 999 999
New transmission serial number - 3 000 001

3. Modified Brake Band Piston B2, Transmission





As of transmission serial number 3 122 870, a one-piece brake band piston B2 has been installed in transmission 722.3 (previously two-piece).





The one-piece brake band piston may only be installed in previous transmissions together with a plastic piston guide ring (88a, Figure 2).
