1. Disconnect the breather valve at the fuel tank side of the valve.

2. Connect a suitable vacuum-pressure tester to port (B) of the breather valve and apply pressure.

^ The valve should open at approximately 30-50 mbar (0.435-0.725 psi.). If not replace the breather valve.

3. Apply vacuum to the breather valve.

^ The valve should open at approximately 20-35 mbar (0.7-1 in. Hg). If not replace the breather valve.
