Throttle Position Switch: Description and Operation

The throttle valve switch communicates the "idle" and "full load" throttle positions to the CIS-E control unit. The throttle valve switch is mounted on the throttle body and actuated by the throttle valve shaft. A separate contact is closed for each of the throttle valve end positions, i.e. idle and full load.
