NEW REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION TOOL FOR ANGULAR CONTACT BALL BEARINGS MODELS 124 AND 201

A new removal and installation tool with a three-part needle thrust bearing is available for removal and installation of the angular contact ball bearings in the front wheel hub on 4-MATIC vehicles, and the angular contact ball bearings in the rear wheel hub.

The existing removal and installtion tool part no. 124 589 04 43 00, can be modified to the new tool with the conversion kit, part no. 124 589 04 43 12.





During removal and installation work the three-part needle thrust bearing must always be under the collar nut.

When modifying the removal and installation tool, the one-part needle thrust bearing must be removed.
