Cabin Air Filter / Purifier: Description and Operation

Dust Filter Location:

- The Dust Filter consists of two identical parts which are joined together when inserted into the mounting frame on the A/C housing.
- A dust filter is located in front of the blower motor, and collects the dust from the air entering the passenger compartment. Depending on the dust particle size, up to 100% of the dust is filtered out (i.e. pollen).
- Additionally, the components located behind the filter are protected from dust. In the recirculation mode, air is not filtered.
